Dashboard air vent removal

I would like to know if anybody knows how to remove and replace the right front air vent on a 2017 Explorer? Mine came back from the dealer with one of the louvers broken.

I believe it will just "pop" out. use a plastic pry tool. If you are going to replace it, check out the new one first.

I can post details from the Ford Service Manual tonight.

If it came back from the dealer with a damaged part, why is your job to fix it?

It can be put in the right place and it will stay until you move it. Thats the way it looked when I picked it up ,until I moved it a few days later and saw it was broken. I am going in tomorrow to discuss the situation. I don't really have high hopes and am preparing to replace it myself. If it comes to that. Needed a front differential seal so I brought it to them. They also replaced the cabin air filter.

Be Careful not to break any clips. If you do, epoxy (JB Weld)
