    fuzzy speakers...ugh

    they are pioneer 4 way 220 watt. so they should be able to handle what i am throwing at them. i have only 1 hooked up right now and the volume coming out is a lot lower than the 3 stock that are still hooked up. none of the stock make the distorted noise. it would be compared to if the speaker...

    fuzzy speakers...ugh

    the wires coming from the door are grey and yellow. the ones i have for the speakers and grey and grey/black... is it just a guessing game which is which? i did try switching them around but the same thing happened. perhaps for some reason could it be the conncetion with the cd player and wire...

    :mad: so i got my new cd deck installed. go thru the door panel removing process... detach my stock speaker and splice the new one on. get it all set up... and its fuzzy as hell. it sounds terrible. i tired more than one of the new speakers and i know its not the wiring on the back of the cd...

    no power in cd deck...

    so as im typing this i am in the process of installing my new cd player. i have all the wires connected from the cd player to the wire harness. everything matches and everything is secure... i put everything in my truck and connect the harness to the one that used to connect to my stock...

    how do i take off the door panels

    i am installing new speakers in my explorer. ive done this before in other cars but neevr this one. how exactly do i get off the door panel with out breaking anything. if possible a step by step guide would help. thanks so much.
