Has anybody replace their control arms with Moog?

I agree with you guys about sticking with the Moog products and I most certainly will. I'm a little concerned about the authenticity of this part. Part number on the box matches the part numbers that are advertised on other sites and matched the numbers that swshawaii has mentioned in other...

Has anybody replace their control arms with Moog?

I can't seem to get the correct parts from Parts Geek. I wanted Moog ball joints, upper and lower for both sides. Thought I'd save some money by ordering from PG. A few days ago I received a Mevotech for the drivers side. I'm sending it back. I got the passenger side today and something isn't...

    Really!

I was hoping someone else would get a laugh. I'm just pleased it's not a major fix. I don't understand why someone couldn't spend 8 bucks to buy the tool that removes the fuel line. And yes it's worked just fine for the last 4 years.

    Really!

So I started to replace my fuel filter and I found this.............. That is a the out flow side of the fuel filter. Y'all wouldn't happen to know the clip size by any chance would you? 10.5mm or 13mm

    Fuel Tank Vents

I've heard of fuel caps going bad. I've never had that problem but some mechanics I know said that is a common problem.

    Power Window problem

Remove the door panel and check to make sure the window is on track. The bushings on the regulator ($40 to $100) could be wore. When you roll the window down, pay attention and see if the window shifts a little. Kinda looks like one side tries move down faster than the other. Could be a motor...

    Diameter of the sway bar?

I was searching the net for bushing for the sway bar and got different diameter options. Just want to make sure I get the right parts. Anybody know what size I should get? Is there a sway bar "upgrade"?

    Power door lock problem

Don't hold me to it but I think if there is a short at the master switch, it will effect all doors. I have fixed windows by finding pinched/broke wires that run through the boot between the door and cab. I also fixed the windows on my wife's Edge the other day. On that, I took the master switch...

Vibration from the rear and aussie locker question.

I drained the fluid from the axle today. Rotated the axle as I soaked everything down with brake cleaner untill it was all nice and shiney. Let it dry out and feeled with synthetic gear oil. It took care of the vibration for the most part. The noise is damn near gone. I'm very pleased. I...

Vibration from the rear and aussie locker question.

I'm still gathering all the info I can about my towing issue. Learning alot btw. All of this info will be used for future refrence for lift and upgrades. Tomarrow I'm replaceing the drivers side cv joint, changing the oil, and if there is time, I'll be draining the fluid from the differential...

Vibration from the rear and aussie locker question.

Yeah. I have to agree with ya'll. After further research about the AAL, I saw a set that came with torsion keys, I did a search on this site about the torsion keys. From what I have read on here I would have trouble with ball joints and cv 's if I installed the torsion keys. That's sucks...

Vibration from the rear and aussie locker question.

Now that's convincing and nice to see the sport trac sitting level like that. Do you know what your tongue wieght is? "I havent used the add a leaf but everyone that has says that they like it. You could always do a small torsion twist to level out with the lift you'd get in the rear...

Vibration from the rear and aussie locker question.

Here is a major concern of mine. I don't like the sag I have going on here. I didn't realize it untill we got home the following day and checked out our pictures. Now, I did pack alot of our gear in the front of the boat to HELP with the tongue weight. Guess I over done it. I just cann't...

Vibration from the rear and aussie locker question.

Ok, so the lockers don't do much for the axle as far as hualing something..... If you get stuck in the mud or have a slick ramp, it works great. Diff cover....Thats it!! Thanks Alexsport.

Vibration from the rear and aussie locker question.

 The toon isn't nothing like a 25' powerboat, thats for sure. With the trailer and all, it may weigh barely over 3k. It's mostly aluminum. I put this truck through the test before any long huals were done. Drove to a super steep ramps acouple of blocks from my house, this truck pulled the...

Vibration from the rear and aussie locker question.

I'm a very new guy to the site ya'll have here and I have to start off by saying what a great site and there are so many awsome pictures of sport tracs. I never knew they could look so bad ***. I bought this sport trac 2 years ago and have had NO problems out of it. 107,000 miles when I...
