    I want to :thumbsup: thank you for your help Reverse and Drive 1 engage normally "no problem there" Just in Drive and somewhat into Drive 2 does it engage slowly :( Curt

    Thanks for the reply :thumbsup: Would seal replacement consist of removing the valve body?? I have already dropped the pan when changing fluid and filter and like doing my own repairs :roll: Where is the seal located Curt

    Hi All 1996 Exployer 4.0 with 4 wheel drive " dash switch" When engaging drive (D) from park it takes a few seconds to engage All other gears (R)-(2)-(1) it engages normally Fluid is at normal level Any Ideas :confused: Curt

    Hi All My son's girlfriend just picked up an 1996 Explorer 4.0 with electronic four wheel drive "switch" I want to change the transmission fluid - after running a search :( I found results leading to no :fire: torque convertor drain plug ?? Any info regarding changing Fluid...
