    GJarrett, You were right, 7/8" it is. I did some more checking and finally found out that the 3/4" cross-shaft is for the Ford 8.8 on 1986 and older vehicles.

    biggs85k, I am fairly certain that you do not have to reset the gears when installing the powertrax. The locker just replaces the spider gears.

    Another Powertrax no-slip question

    I would like to install a powertrax no-slip locker but am not sure what to order. I know that the rear diff is the Ford 8.8 with 31 spline axle but I do not know if I need the 3/4" or the 7/8" cross shaft. Any ideas? Thanks
