We picked up a new 2015 Ford Edge Sport few weeks ago, and the the burnt oil smell is the same just like in our 2014 Explorer after pushing the car to higher rpm.
I didn't see or feel the same notch on the opposite side of the flange. And yes corrosion is pretty severe I would say. I don't think thank flange will last 5 years, and I don't believe it's leaking yet.
Was changing the oil tonight on my 2014 XLT (14,000 miles) and I've noticed the downpipe flange missing a chunk of metal. Does that look normal to you guys?
When I used the x plan for my 2014 XLT I did get an extra x plan $600 rebate on top of the $2000 rebate at the time. Here is a good car pricing site: http://www.nada.com/
Yes, Narva. Stock oem 9005 bulb has a lifespan around 280-500 hours. Most of the bulbs mentioned in this thread are rated around 100-150 hours.
Still my next project in the spring will be installing a 9005 morimoto hid kit.
I'm very happy with them and the they are supposed to last 350 plus hours. They are way much brighter than stock bulbs. For $32 shipped and german made I think it's a very good buy.
I got some funky smell with the heat on now. Kinda smells like something is rotting. 2014 XLT with about 4000 miles and I have not smelled anything with the AC on. Cabin filter is clean.
