Got half way up the mountains and the truck went to crap. All I could do was 30 mph in second up the hill. Nursed into the campground and unloaded camp. Swapped the new MAF filter in an disconnected the battery. Truck runs okay now. There is still something not quite right though. Seems to...

Driven the truck on a few 10 minute runs around town and so far so good. Going to load up and head for the mountains to go do some wheeling. Bring the spare MAF sensor. If I have issues I will swap it in.

Cleaned it with the silver can "mass air sensor cleaner" from the local parts house. Going to disconnect the batterry first tomorrow and see if that does anything. If the cleaning and that doesn't solve my problem then I will install the new sensor.

I am just running a car quest house brand. Only reason I went with them was they were the closest with one in stock when I needed it. I have burned it a few times but after the doubler it has been fine.

What bead roller is that?

It is a good location forsure. Did you see my mic holder? Holds the two mics on each side of the radio. Still easy to adjust the radio and the hvac controls. Both are easy to reach as well. Only sown side your hand can hit the right mic when shifting into 5th gear.

Where is pictures of the ham radio mount. That was the best part of the whole truck ;). I never noticed the door panels.

That is a good list of items to address. You have till October when desert season starts.

Tracy installed her EF sticker she got at the Saturday night dinner on her Explorer today. It is sort of Moab related.

Watching. Have to see how my work schedule is at the time.

I checked them every broken shaft or hub. That seemed to be about once a year. Now with alloy shafts I might have to change my routine.

Tracy was a split second late on getting the picture when the tire was 2 feet higher then it is in the photo.

It will be a trip to remember.

Made it home a few hours ago. Uneventful trip home.

Broken leaf spring was easymc. We had 15 people in his campsite till midnight swaping the spring out. One bolt had to be cut. Running a grinder at 1130 in canyonlands campground.

Made it to Mesquite Nevada. So far so good. I love Utah speed limits.
