just to update - went down to pick up the new EGR tube...the nut on it is a 1 1/16". i went to sears, picked up a 1 1/16" 6pt socket (since the tube snapped off right there), get home, and it seems to be just a bit too big. tried to loosen the nut, but it didnt seem like that socket was...

its coming out of the tailpipe too anything aftermarket you would reccomend that i can just unbolt right there at the flange before that and put something else in? not looking for anything loud/obnoxious. just something for an OEM replacement thanks for the quick reply

car i bought saturday has an odd issue...last night, i started it up, let it warm up, idiling fine (had a missing electrode on spark plug when i changed them sunday)...while idling i hear something doesnt sound right...on the exhaust, about under the rear seats, theres what im guessing is a cat...

just to update - didnt even need to replace the switch...i went out tonight to figure out how to disassemble the dash to get to the switch...after getting it apart, i find that theres a couple wires that have popped out of the back of the plug...push them back in, voila! it left and right...

everything works completely normal on the right. they blink at normal speed, dont stay on, etc. blinks the same with hazard switch. right only, correct speed, etc. only the left doesnt work. the indicator works on the dash for right turn, both front and rear turn signals blink left side...

as i found out after i spent 2.5 hours scratching my arms up and having just a fantastic time switching them, the wrong ones. i put bosch platinum +4, and most everyone on the local forum im on said i should have went with motorcraft or autolite...still debating if i want to go at it again this...
