    Check Charging System Problem

    Sorry I got my numbers confused. The voltage with the car off was 13.2 right after turning off the engine. A few hours later it was 12.7. The battery is a Duracell. The alternator is Duralast Gold and it was brand new.

    2005 Mountaineer Started having check charging system light come on last summer. Put in a new alternator (not remanufactured) in August. Light went off and stayed off until November. When it came back on in November shop couldn't find anything wrong with it, except battery showed lower...
