I remember seeing an article several years ago about a Ford prototype Ranger that had the entire front clip from an Explorer. Very racy looking....don't know if this is any help but I remember reaing something to the effct that only a few of the bolt holes had to be moved.

Hey, I just pulled mine and cleaned it this afternoon. It should be attacvhed to the the side of intake with two 10mm bolts and an electrical connection plug.
