    I have the best 02 ford explorer. the only thing I've done to this XLT is change two sets of hub bearings. I have 296452 km on this vehicle it still runs like a new car, I bought it new in 02 & love it

    Regarding the sqeaking noise in the front end of your 02 explorer. Get some white litium grease & spray all the bushings in the front end of your ford that should solve your problem:):)
