    New Used A4LD

    I have a '91 Ranger 4.0L 4x4 with bad A4LD. I found a used one that is supposed to be in good shape, but how to tell? I'll pull the pan and change the filter, but what else can I do? Also the tranny came with a new torque converter; the manual says to mark the orientation of the converter...
