Brake line broke off at the fitting as expected. It does not seem to be a big deal to fix that. Thanks for the help.

    Front rubber brake hose

Got it ... Thanks. Of course I broke the end of the brake line in the process so it's back to the parts store.

    Front rubber brake hose

So my next step is to "unscrew" the old hardline from the brake line. It did not want to unscrew so I did not force it for fear it would break. After I get that off, the clip should be easy to remove, correct?

Steel Brake lines: Daisy-chained from Drivers to Pass?

Strange little clip I am trying to replace the brake hose on the passenger side and I cannot disconnect the hose from the flexible brake line. There is a little screwy clip on the back side of the bracket and I cannot figure it out. Is there some type of trick to it or do I need a special tool?

    Front rubber brake hose

Getting the clip off Would you please tell me how you were able to remove the clip? I spent almost two hours last night just spinning it around and still cannot figure it out. By the way, the brake hose screws on to the brake line, correct?
