Does anyone know if there is a battery that can be replaced in the key FOB? If so, how do you pop it open? We've had the remote start key since 2013 and now it barely works to even open the door. I tried a quick search but nothing popped up. Thanks for any help.

Quick update. At first, the dealer was going to write it off as spilled oil from an oil change but when I mentioned "PTU" and emailed the picture, to their credit, they took a second look. They are going to replace the PTU as there were shavings in it when the tech checked the fluid level...

Xfan, when you get the keys, the dealer instructions are glued to the side of the box. They basicly provide a link to a web page in the dealer system. I'd go to another dealer or talk to a different advisor at your current dealer. The programming is trivial. Oh, and no module is required...

Thanks. They are a bit far for me. I ended up at the dealer I purchased from with a print out of the remote start key from a place online. They looked at me like I had two heads, gave me a bit of a run around then quoted two hours ($200) to cut and program the keys and flip the remote start...
