    check engine scanner Disconnect the battery and that cleared the check engine for a while. nex time I started the truck up, the light returned, seems to run rough on idle nowl. what brand / type scanner should I be looking for?

    Hello New member today from Canada. I have a 2003 Sport Trac with 130,000 km. did not have any issues with the truck until last week, battery and alternator required replacement, barely made it home. was hesitating the last mile. Now I have a check engine light. any recommendations.
