Thank you I don't know for sure it's s rear main. I used the ultraviolet dye in the oil and it showed up between the transmission and engine. I think the 302 has more options for increasing the horse power .

Can the oil pan be dropped with the engine still in the car? I have checked and the oil seems to be leaking around the rear main.
