    I have a 2000 explorer 4.0 the o/d light keeps blinking and the trans shifts long and wont shift after 30 to 40 mph, it happened after taking it mudding and water got in the coil pack, it stalled in the mud and water, and i had to restart it and drop it in drive to get out, any ideas if i need a...

    I have a 2000 explorer 4.0 sohc and when I'm accelerating I can keep the gas pedal at the same spot it will accelerate at first and then die down and to accelerate again i got to let out the gas and re apply the gas to get it up and going again Does anyone have any idea to what could causethis
