thanks everyone. My problem is solved, I check with my meter and no codes detected. I did the following: changed gasket under fuel rail; changed gasket on top of the fuel rail; changed gasket on the throttle body housing. thanks again.
How do I locate the forum that you are referring to. "codes are lean bank and show the inlet manifold seals are brittle and need to be changed". Sorry to be such a dunce. I tried and can't find it. New to this board.
Help! I have a 2000 explorer 4x4 v6 with two engine codes, code numbers po 171 and po 174. Im fairly well mechanically inclined and would prefer to fix it myself so any advice would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.
