manual locking hubs on 1995 Ex, 1998 ranger parts?
I don't think anyone makes a selectable locker for our d35 which is different then a normal d35, it's lunch box or a few do make LS. I have a 5.0 which was AWD before the 4406 swap. The Ranger axles are most defiantly different.- SWIGIN

Auto Lockers in AWD diffs?
I don't understand guys saying not to lock the front diff if you drive in snow. I live in PA and drove a 79 bronco 18 years with a front limited slip and it was more of a handful then my EX with a Lock Right. The Limited slip will push in corners 100% of the time whereas the lunchbox locker...- SWIGIN

manual locking hubs on 1995 Ex, 1998 ranger parts?
For some reason this is stickied in the transmission section. https://www.explorerforum.com/forums/threads/how-to-avm-hub-conversion-2006-ranger.284136/ I did the lockout and added a Lock Right to my D35. Here's my crapy thread...- SWIGIN

Junkyard Score! EX Superlift Kit!
I wouldn't know the box number since I took this off a vehicle and each piece has it's own number but most can't be read due to rust. The shocks I went with are posted on page 1, I found them at Summit Racing and they are the correct Superlift plus 4'' shocks. No updates yet, I took some time...- SWIGIN

Junkyard Score! EX Superlift Kit!
My steel came in for my rear bumper and skid plate. The plate is just 3/16'' and the 2x4 and 2x2 is only 1/8''. The last thing I want is a heavy bumper that probably wont get used that hard. I just want to make something that don't hang out from the body or hang low.- SWIGIN

Transmission question
Just take the tail housing off your tranny and add a T case like a BW4406. On second thought, the output shaft might be too long for that.- SWIGIN

anyone replace rear shackles with sliders?
I really don't know anything about spring sliders but I like the idea. I would assume they would bind a tad or have more drag then a swinging shackle but I'm sure they work or they wouldn't exists.- SWIGIN

Radiator Mod to increase ground clearance?
I doubt we have the hood clearance to raise the rad much at all. Put tall playdough towers on the top of the rad and shut the hood and see how much room you have. I doubt it would be enough to be worth the time to raise the rad.- SWIGIN

Post Christmas update, I dug out the MIG today and welded up those Ruff Stuff U Bolt Plates. How they come. I tacked the ends of the seems then went full boogie. These things are pretty nice, they are bent very well and seem heavy enough to do the job. Now I got to find u bolts that...- SWIGIN

I have that same bumper but I'm not installing mine till the lift is done. I was thinking about bolting a bar to the bottom of the bumper to protect the rad. I'm interested to see what you come up with.- SWIGIN

Yeah, it was close to $600 then after 3-4 weeks when they are done you need to pay shipping. Shipping from Colorado to Pennsylvania would be killer. I'm leaning towards the 6'' skyjackers like I posted or just do some F 150 franken leaves.- SWIGIN

I'm torn between the 33 10.5 or the 33 12.5 since I have never been around a lifted EX before. The 12.5 was the only choice for my 79 Bronco but this EX is a ton lighter and even being heavy the old Bronco would pull hard when you hit puddles.
