Well, that's not the problem I have. I mean that I need to get this truck legal and on the road. There will be a second round of extreme upkeep coming. But this EX needs to have a driver behind the wheel asap at this point.

Thanks! Honestly. While it is a bunch of work, its not that hard really. My problem is I basically tackled the entire EX at one time. The good news for me is that the end is in sight!

For sure! I wanted to scrub them and clean them real nice before I mounted the tires. But time is a wastin so I have to do them on the car.

Today is the first time it’s had matched wheels and tires since I bought it.

Replaced the lower ball joints today. Greased the front end. Installed new sway bar endlinks. And installed the new wheels and tires. Smog test and wheel alignment th is week. Then we can talk burnouts….

Well, This is the First EX I've torn apart to this level. However, When I pulled the cloth seat coverings off in the junkyard the drivers frame was broken on that too. So I'd bet its more common than not. When I welded it I welded the length of the support rather than just two one inch spots on...

Welded the drivers seat frame yesterday. Put a fast coat of paint on the welds.

So your car and mine are different. It will be interesting to see how the scheduling plays out once we all start receiving these cars..

Need to weld this seat back support back onto the frame. I hit it with the wire wheel and did a little grinding. Ill weld it up soon.

I had the tires mounted and balanced today.

Installed the rear seat yesterday. Recovered rhe passenger seat. Started recovering the drivers seat but i have to reweld the cross support on the seat back. My mig welder is at my buddies place, so i need to do that this week.

I installed the rear interior trim panels 2 days ago. Did the cowl trim a week ago. It's always the little stuff that slows down a project.

We are close! Give me a week. Been busy lately. Need to mount the new tires then get a proper alignment. Working out all the details.. I still need to work out the cold stalling issue, but I need to keep moving forward to the end.
