Wheel shake while turning. Already replaced power steering pump.
Still need to get around to doing this as I still have the shakes. By the way, does this need to be done with the Power Steering reservoir cap off? Thanks.- aberrant

Leaking Cargo Window??
I have water exactly where 00meangreenXLT had. Found it after the recent rain here in CA. What's interesting however, is I'm not positive it's the cargo window leaking as I see water stains near the back hatch on the headliner, just in the corners near the roof. I also had some water on my rear...- aberrant

Wheel shake while turning. Already replaced power steering pump.
When the front end was worked on, they were probably moved. I'll try what you are suggesting and report back. Thanks.- aberrant

Wheel shake while turning. Already replaced power steering pump.
I had quite a bit of wheel vibration/shake when turning, so I replaced the power steering pump on the advice of a local shop. Well, that hasn't really fixed the problem, so what should I look at now? I know there might be air in the system, so I'll try removing the cap to the reservoir and doing...- aberrant

99 Explorer Troubles
So, a little update here. I decided to go ahead with the repairs, since I am fond of the truck. 1. With a new battery installed, I'm not having any trouble starting the vehicle. It has started up great every time so far. I should also mention that I replaced the fuel filter which could have...- aberrant

99 ex turning to a million pieces
Interested in some mechanical parts, as well as some trim. I'm looking for a drivers side fender flare (my model is gold in color), that small plastic piece on the rear bumper in the center (with clips), rear wiper motor, and rear cargo cover/shade (my interior is the dark grey color). How's...- aberrant

99 Explorer Troubles
In regards to replacing the fuel filter, what is the best way to properly depressurize the fuel system? I've seen a number of videos on youtube, but each one has a different way of doing it. Some flip the fuel inertia switch in the passenger side kick panel, some take out the fuel pump relay...- aberrant

99 Explorer Troubles
Thanks for all the suggestions. I will run the fuel pressure test and replace the fuel filter since it needs a new one anyways. I'm assuming it's okay to replace the fuel filter with a good amount of gas still in the tank? As for the clunking, I will inspect the lower arm and bushings...- aberrant

99 Explorer Troubles
Hello, I'm new here and have a 99 Explorer that's having a few issues. Instead of posting a new thread for each one, I'll just list them here. 1. The truck seems to have trouble starting at times. It had been sitting for a few months, not running. After replacing the battery it seems to be...- aberrant
