RJ's B2 Build
Drove to the Colorado River yesterday .On the way home I noticed a ton of smoke billowing out behind my car. Pulled over to check it out and trans fluid was leaking out from the bell housing. The temp guage for the trans never showed it over heating, but it looks like the front seal went bad. I...- R.J.

It's due for a 4.0 If anything major breaks on this 2.9, it's going to get parked until the 4.0 goes in. It's running fine right now. Hopefully that cylinder with the bad plug is ok.- R.J.

RJ's B2 Build
The rod end wont physically fit the upper mount. I had to take the rod end out because the upper mount stud is a larger diameter than the 1/2" rod end. It works with a standard rubber bushing without the sleeve in it. A lot of Toyota guys have to do the same thing. And I am worried about that...- R.J.

Hello have a 94 Ranger giving me fits
Engine spins really fast but not enough? Now engine won't crank? I may be reading this wrong, but maybe it's a battery, battery cables, or starter problem.- R.J.

A/C not working? help!
X2 on the pressure switch. If the pressure switch checks out and it's sending the right signal back for the ac to run, and if then your still not getting power at the connector to the compressor, then you'll have to trace the wires.- R.J.

Conversation Time!!! SAS or TTB?
The ttb is a good desert suspension, and it's decent on moderate trails with a sturdy lift kit (skyjacker or James duff) but if you want to make a didicated rock crawler out of it, to solid axle. 18" of travel from a ttb is great in the desert, but it isn't as good in the rocks as a solid...- R.J.

RJ's B2 Build
I went with the Bilstein shocks because they make them with a short body option. So fitting them under the floor of the bronco and keep the mounts high on the axle for ground clearance. Which to me was more important than having a larger shock body, like a 2.5" shock, which would work much...- R.J.

Haven't posted anything in a while. Haven't done much to it other than chasing down a brake issue that was finally figured out. But now I finally have something to post. Spent the money on some decent shocks They are Bilstein 7100 10" short body shocks. Hopefully they'll be decent for a mix...- R.J.

Heater only works on panel/floor setting
Figured out why my selector on move fully to the right. It's just a problem in the little track that the lever slides through. If I pull the lever outward, I can move it fully side to side. So I guess it'll stay like that. Unless I wanted to swap out that whole unit.- R.J.

I know on my engine there's two temp sensors. One for the guage and one for the ecu. But I don't think mine is right there on the 2.9. But maybe it is on yours? Is this picture taken from the front of the engine?- R.J.

PLAN B Build
When I heard your engine plans for the car, I thought to myself that it might be easiest and worth it to cut out the engine cage and reinstall it, possibly modified, after the engine is in. I didn't think about the heater box. But you do have the donor car heater parts. Not sure what will be...- R.J.

Heater only works on panel/floor setting
Ok I think I figured out what my problem is, but haven't figured out why. The problem is just that the temperature belnd door was not opening all the way. So with the vent selector door in just the right position it would get the warm air to come out the vents and not cold. You can see in the...- R.J.

Heater only works on panel/floor setting
It's been cold lately, and the only time I get heat out of the climate control is when the setting is on panel/floor setting, but only the panel vents come out warm. I don't get heat through the floor vents, the defroster, and if I put the setting on panel only, then it's cold again. But slide...- R.J.

I think I figured out my noise..... I've had a clunking noise coming from the rear of the car for some time now. Especially on left turns. Scored these lift brackets from another member on here. They've been repaired once, so I will add some reinforcement to them before installing. I currently don't have axle lift brackets on. Just stock brackets and 2" lift springs. These brackets are 2.5" lift brackets from rancho. So the plan is...- R.J.
