It's cheaper to manual swap. I did this with my 91 aerostar van. The benefit is better mpg and a transmission that will last longer than the automatic.

A junk yard will be your best bet. It's common for all the little things to be stripped off the transmission. What I learned the hard way is, it is better to turn the item in for the core credit after the job is complete. It's easy to miss or overlook, small but critical items.
