Josh P's 05 Jeep Liberty diesel
I've found the flywheel housing I need. It shipped from Canada today. I found the clutch brake pedal assembly in Ontario, OR. They pulled it today and I'll be picking it up on Wednesday when I pass thru. The flywheel housing has a rubber gasket on the back, I'll need to figure out a part number... -

How bad is this misfire? A little noise on a cylinder or like a timing chain jumped a tooth?- Josh P

Solved The car is leaking antifreeze not from the radiator.
If it's the 4.0 check the thermostat housing and hose that goes to it. Another possibility is the water pump, I've had them leak at the impeller shaft.- Josh P

Murraymountain’s Lowered 95 Sport
The more bass the better. I'd be curious how D.J Magic Mike sounds with those speakers. Back when I was in High school I had a stereo in my room with a pair of 18s, a pair of 15s and two 12 inch subs. I got in trouble a few times for knocking pictures off the walls around the house.- Josh P

Josh P's 05 Jeep Liberty diesel
I've been pondering this project a lot lately. I think I might have to do some clearance workand go with the SAE 2 flywheel housing. I looked at having an adapter made to fit the modular pattern flywheel housing, problem is stacking a lot of mass beyond the crank spacer. The 10 bolts that hold... -

The Aerostar build date is confusing.
Double check the 10th position. 7th is correct, 8th should be x. I suspect 3 is in the 9th and there should be a P or R in the 10th spot.- Josh P

The Aerostar build date is confusing.
I assume since it is known the van was built in December, the tag was checked. What is being asked is, what is the production dates for each model year. Ford starts the next model year the Monday after 4th of July. I do know multiple model years can be built at the same time such as 93 and 94...- Josh P

2000 X AWD 5.0 cranks but no start after new exhaust/cats installed
I'm glad you're on the right track and it's running again. No laughter from me, this is how many of us learn, nobody is perfect. You got it, that's what matters. Also explains why you had ignition spark and it wouldn't run on starting fluid. Amazing odds it decided to give up after getting the...- Josh P

How to check voltage incoming in the inertia switch
1. Yes jumper 30 to 87 2. Yes 3. Yes. If you do have power on the green wire but not on the pink with black stripe, jumper those two to bypass the inertia switch, then check for power at the fuel pump connector.- Josh P

2000 X AWD 5.0 cranks but no start after new exhaust/cats installed
A gasoline engine will run on starting fluid without needing any gas mixed with the starting fluid. A compression test would be next on the things to check. Harbor freight has an inexpensive unit.- Josh P

2000 X AWD 5.0 cranks but no start after new exhaust/cats installed
Since it won't run on starting fluid that means 2 things, either there's an issue with the ignition system or there's an issue with the engine. Spark plug wires could have been messed with. You stated someone else has a remote. With the engine it's almost lottery odds something happened to the...- Josh P
