Any suggestions besides an extraction socket set? I've even tried putting a drill on it without much luck. Why on earth does it seem like they're seriously over torqued? I've even tried heat and pb blaster with zero movement- DemonMudder

Down to literal bare block, bunch a chunks in the upper oil pan, glad I pulled it now, not to mention everything broken I've pulled through the front or top. But everything looks fantastic besides that! Even for the coolant being water before she was parked, everything looks dang good!- DemonMudder

Still a lot of cleaning up to do, but made a lot of progress, and yeah...chains needed being done, pretty much all of them besides the 4wd balancer one had something broken. But so far looking good, doesn't seem to have whacked the pistons at all- DemonMudder

Engine finally freaking out, now begins the easier part. So I'm going to do most of the disassembling, and teaching my girlfriend some stuff, but she's really enjoying cleaning it up, so by the time we're done, she should be all rebuilt and mostly cleaned up! I mean hell, that valve cover was...- DemonMudder

Yep, that's what I'm hoping! I was going to try and be more organized, still ended up with several piles of bolts, I'll figure it out, just a matter of matching in the end! Least I know where they all are!! I've gotten smart and put some less important bolts back into the block so that I can't...- DemonMudder

Can never be easy or go to plan lmao I can officially say, after way too long, the engine i think is ready to come out! All of the electrical looks to be unhooked, except the main harness attached to the back of the block that I can't get to very well, but least they're disconnected. All that...- DemonMudder

Alright, progress, think i got all the necessary front end drive stuff off, 95% of the top is all apart and unplugged/disconnected, getting real close! Hate how long this is taking, I'm not too great at this yet apparently. So many bolts...but a couple upgrades as I'm going, new compressor is in...- DemonMudder

Nevermind, he used the 06-11 ones, which were a smidge bigger and more square which I don't mind! I'll have to nab a junkyard set one of these weeks, also have to grab a set of obs chevy mirrors to compare and maybe try too, I kinda like those if I could make them work.- DemonMudder

Not finding too much on this subject, but what have yall done for bigger side mirrors? Maybe not necessarily tow mirrors, not against that, but the oem mirrors are just so small, and now I'm just used to having tow mirrors. Found a pan with a plug built in I'll add to the order. I can't weld yet so, probably best to do it this way lol A good idea though, didn't know it didn't have a drain plug. But yeah, grabbing a pack of three 3.75qt jugs, so I should have plenty!- DemonMudder

Jade Pearl Update/Build Log
Well, I feel like **** after trying to make this work all day. One bracket there's no way I can make line up with new holes, but I'll make an adapter plate to go from it to the seat bolt, but for now, 3/4 and it's damn secure still. It certainly don't like the armrests of the seats, but thats...- DemonMudder

Sorry this is a slow progression: I think I have everything, then find I don't, waiting on stuff that then gets delayed, and the new situation of my brother had the engine stand in his truck that's now in the tranny shop, so who knows when I'll have that. Bumper bracket ain't bendable, too much on the backside keeping it from bending forward or back. Frame horn I could maybe bend slightly.
