Bumper on! Mostly. Didn't have all four bolts to mount it, had three but for some reason and for some reason the outer two bolts won't reach? I got the two inner ones, sorry don't have pictures of that offhand, but the bumper hits the frame bracket and can't go further back, the inside ones sit...- DemonMudder

yeah, that looks like it, is that really at like the very front left corner?? I'd have never looked there..well, I certainly appreciate it, don't know it'll do anything or help whatever happened before, don't even fully remember what now, but doesn't hurt to swap I guess.- DemonMudder

I'd guess too, but not a single clue. Bought it way back after my 4wd acted funky and thought that may be the problem. Never acted up again so never got around to it. Definitely would appreciate ya looking for sure- DemonMudder

I'll add pictures later tonight, I did some painting yesterday and painted up that winch bumper a bit to save the rusty spots. But, I also got some goodies on the way: new wiring harness for my lund visor (guy that installed it junked it some and the lights flicker, SO I'm fixing it), working on...- DemonMudder

Jade Pearl Update/Build Log
Oh yeah, definitely an interesting time! Airing down helped considerably! We aired up to about 30psi before leaving in fear of the storm and not wanting to have to fill them back up during it; so on the way out traction was very sketchy, I was cruising right though the soft stuff when we first...- DemonMudder

Anyone got a single clue where the heck this goes? Bought one a few years back after I had an issue with the 4wd, just in case, never found it and never replaced it. Picture really doesn't help me, claims it fits though- DemonMudder

Jade Pearl Update/Build Log
Well, aired down about 12psi, but she walked through the beach driving today! Never been to a drive on beach, so this was a new but fun experience! Small bit of rain ran through which made an awesome rainbow shot! Was such a great day to relax and get away from things, definitely needed. But...- DemonMudder

Alright! New battery in to test lil' things here and there as I go on the side, and got some good news! Pulled the fuel pump relay, wasn't throwing that 2 y/o fuel in the engine, tried cranking her over and she turned right over, ready to be brought back! Bet if I put some fresh fuel in, she'd...- DemonMudder

Also, beauty got a partial wash today, just enough to get most of the green off and dad gum do I miss it. Also took the small battery I was using on the mazda and tossed it in just to mess around, gotta figure out a lot of the wiring, especially the visor cause the sockets and wiring up there...- DemonMudder

Jade Pearl Update/Build Log
Well, it's in, sort of working, think the battery itself is busted, but the setup is in and works! So now I can find if the battery is shot or not (good chance it is, why I got it free), and then fixing all my wiring to the aftermarket fuse panel I added, making the starter battery mostly free...- DemonMudder

Was gonna make it mount bolt in like the bull bar does. Or if I had, weld it on, but having it all removable seems like a nice idea in case I ever need to get behind it for work, that way the whole bumper doesn't have to come off every time I mess with the grille or what's behind it- DemonMudder

See, I'd love to do that, if I was good with a welder yet! Plus I got a basic old bending tool from my grandfather, two of 'em, and neither so I think can do anything that big offhand, never done anything with it so I'm not sure lmao @DintDobbs I'd love to gear change, and I will eventually...- DemonMudder

Okay, question, comparing the explorer and ranger guards. I only want the guard for this top bit, I'm going to mod it to mount to the steel bumper I got a while back instead of the bull bar. So I want to see if the build is the same of not, I'd guess the mounts are a lil' different but that...- DemonMudder

Engine swapping will turn me completely from the mileage goal honestly, by the time I do get there, the mazda should be done and that'll be the one getting plenty of mileage. So I'll sacrifice gladly. For now I guess I'll stick to the small stuff yall have suggested like headers and the TB- DemonMudder

@CDW6212R I'll have to look through his thread. Not sure I want to go over a 4.10, I got 3.73 now, would definitely swap in a 4.10 LS if I got the chance, just cause it still will be a partial daily, so I don't want crazy low like a 4.56, I'll be revving harder than the rado does on 37s if I...- DemonMudder

Moab 2025
Yeah, by then all my rigs hopefully, besides my b2000 if I do engine swap it, should be running and good by then! The only thing in the maybe for me around that time could be still settling into a move to TN, if that happens. But otherwise I'm set to at least go see, my rigs may not participate...- DemonMudder

I know the comparison between my 5.7l rado with a 4.10 and my mom's rado with a 5.3l and a 3.73 was very noticeable, hers was on 35x12.5s, while I'm on 37x13.5s probably making less power. Hers still felt less powerful than mine, least in the low end for sure- DemonMudder

True.. Still got a 3.73, it wasn't bad, just wanted the power back some, which I guess these upgrades so far should help some with, meaning I won't have to gear swap till I go bigger- DemonMudder

Keeping my 265/75r16s, about a 31.5-32". That's stunning, though I don't necessarily want to daily a manual, I'll have the mazda for that one. Fair lmao Not happening to the X lmao- DemonMudder

I want a lot of things lmao I want it to be efficient, but also gain some power, cause I remember noticing a lack of after the tires. Either way it won't be great mileage I'd guess, still better than the 10-13 the rado gets! Though both I may be able to add dual tanks to, hopefully..- DemonMudder
