    Overdrive Question

    I have a 2000 Eddie Bauer, with the SOHC motor, and the 5 speed automatic. I have had it for several months, but just noticed that I can only turn the OD off, or on, when the transmission is in park. Is this normal? The OD on my wifes 2004 Mountaineer can be turned off, or on, anytime...
