    Strange Problem, could not find the answer

    My wife has a 2004 Ford Explorer 4.6 4x4 with the towing package. As of late, we have been experiencing a hard shutter at the front axle when the auto awd engages or disengages. (Feels like the front diff is locking up). HOWEVER, if the vehicle is placed in 4x4 High, there is no problem...
