Hi... I have a 99 explorer ltd with 90000 miles on it...about 6 mos ago I thought I blew my automatic transmission (big thud then wouldn't drive in any gear)...my mechanic said that it was my transfer case and 4 wheel drive actuator and replaced both...the day I picked up my newly repaired...
