    EGR Valve Help !!!

    I am replacing the EGR valve on my 94 Explorer. All of the replacement valves I can find have two (2) additional holes in the neck right above where it bolts to the tube. Anyone know if you are supposed to just plug these holes up or what. My original has no holes like this. On the 95...

    94 xlt engine flutter at speed or exceleration

    Here it is: Rough idle but smooths out somewhat at about 50 0r 55mph, the when it shifts last time, engine flutters and car shakes, but if I let up on gas or give it more gas it seems to smooth out again, its almost like at a certain speed or rpm it does this. I am getting no codes at this...

    I have searched forum for info on code 175 with no luck. I'm new at this and would appreciate any info on how to troubleshoot this code. I get this code consistenly when CEL comes on. Engine rough at start then smooth's out.
