    98 V8 exhaust leak

    Is there a particular place where the EGR tube or manifolds crack on the 5.0l? I replaced the cracked DPFE hoses but I still hear an exhaust leak on the passenger side, but i don't see any cracks anywhere.

    Can any rubber hoses be used or are they special dealer high temp. hoses?

    P1151 P1131 - 98 Explorer V8

    My Explorer shows both codes P1151 & P1131. Sometimes it idles rough but not bad, and the acceleration is not what it used to be. I cleaned the MAF sensor and cleared the light with a scanner but it keeps coming back on. P1151 showed up first and when I drive it longer P1131 shows up also...
