    2000 4.0 sohc alternator

    I'm lookin to upgrade my alternator to a 290 amp alt and i'm pretty sure the one that a guy has will fit my explorer, but i'm not sure. He said it will work as long as mine is not a PCM. All i really need to know, is do i have a PCM or not? Thanks, Kid
