say you had a 98 explorer with the SOHC 4 litre. Would it be possible to swap out the engine with that of a 98 mustang cobra 4.6 litre? is this mechanically possible? i did a quick search and didn't see anything relating to the 98's.

in the 02-03 Explorer they use a 4.6L V8. Is that the same engine that they put into the 02-03 mustangs?
Why does the mustang have 260hp and the explorer have 240?
Are there differant componets?
