    questions about finding plastic pieces in the lower pan.....

    '97 sohc 4x4 with startup rattle and 200K on the odometer. Went to replace the rusty lower pan today and found pieces of plastic in the pan....they were small and not that many compared to pictures of others I've seen on the forum....is there a way to determine which guide(s) they're from...

    cam chain noise
