So my parents have a 2000 Mountaineer that has developed a turn signal issue. All signals work properly when the head lights are off. Once you turn the head lights on, the left signal will not illuminate. The local parts guy told them that they need a new flasher unit. Does not sound right...

I have an 05 mountaineer that has the rear ac controls, but no homelink. My question is if the wiring to add homelink would be behind this console? I would like to purchase a counsel that has the homelink in it, and mount it myself. I would look at it myself, but I am out of town for a few days...
