    Please help...having starting problems.

    I have a 1996 explorer every once in a while when i go to start it, i can hear the fuel pump kicking on, so i start it and it acts like its getting to much gas or not enough, if u hold the pedal down at a certain spot it will get going after a minute of sputtering but if it does die it will not...
