I have a 2000 Ford Explorer 4.0 SOHC. I have a random multiple misfires I have been unable to trace and fix the problem. Car runs like crap has small misfire at idle. Under hard acceleration the car falls over itself. Feels as if the car has half its power. Under normal driving has misfire...
Just recently purchased and a 97 Explorer XLT. Any accerlating above 30mph causes a whining noise coming from rear end more specifically inside the pumpkin. IF I let of the gas the whining stops till I resume applying gas again.
I have read alot about the rear end problems the Explorers...
