    So, I have an 02 XLT w/4.0L V6. The O/D Light is flashing and the dealership and an independent tranny shop both say the same thing... servo bore, meaning a tranny swap in the neighborhood of $2500.     Has anybody tried this tranny fix?

    So, had my mechanic and the Ford dealership tell me the same likely problem, the servo bore. Who would have a hardened steel shaft going into a soft aluminum housing?? NUTS!! Anyway, the guy at the dealership tlod me outside (if he told me inside, maybe they would fire him!) about this product...
