    factory alarm system question

    i just recently bought a 2001 mercury mountaineer. the factory theft prevention system is installed. the problem i have with it is: it is overly sensative. if a deisel engine truck drives by it, or i start my motorcycle... the alarm goes off. i dont want to leave it unlocked all tjhe time, but...

    Unmuting the sub

    i recently bought a 2001 mountaineer limited. it has the premium stereo, and a factory installed sub and amp. but as i do not have the rds button i dont seem to be able to unmute the sub. any help would be great before i go cutting and splicing like crazy :)
