    Speedo showing about 8mph high-same tire size

    I have a 91 Explorer. The speedo shows about 8mph slower than what I'm going at 55mph. On mornings that it is really cold, the speedo goes all the way past 85mph and I'm getting passed by granny in the hoopty. What is the problem, and how can I fix it? Thanks Steve

    Electrical problems leading to brake failure?
