    Hissing noise as it shut off

    My 04' explorer made a hissing noise (similar to an airline releasing) as it shut off and now wont start. It does turn over and sounds fuel starved. Is there an easy way to tell if this is a fuel pump problem or for that matter what the issue is? Thanks Bryan
