I finally got my old balancer off my 2005 ford explorer 4.0. Now I am trying to get the new one on? I rented a installing kit from pep boys but I can't figure out how to use it since the large bolt on the kit I should tighten would be inside the new balaner. Also how do I stop the new balancer...
I was wondering if anyone could help me. I was replacing my 05 ford explorer's v6 4.0 harmonic balancer. I got the center bolt out after reading about the trick with cranking the engine. I rented the puller from advance auto. I then notice the bolts wasnt long enough to hook on to the balancer...
