    2003 4.6 oil filler tube

    I have a 2003 4.6. The oil filler cap was stuck on so hard that I managed to damage the pipe that snaps into the valve cover. Apparently, it's a two-piece tube.     New from Virginia

    New to Explorers. Had Fords for years, then Chevrolet, Dodge, got tired of throwing money in my 99 Tahoe (love/hate relationship). So, back to Ford. New-to-me 2003 Explorer XLT with 4.6 V8 and factory towing package. Since I do a lot of my own wrenching expect to see me here often.
