so i have an explorer with an open rear diff and i was thinking if i put thicker gear oil in the diff will it have less of a tendancy to get one tire fire
so i have a 99 explorer with an auto trans and about 100,000 miles ago it started slipping really bad but we found out that if you put the car in 1st 2nd then drive the slipping stops and it drives fine but if you back out of your drive way and throw it in drive it feels like someones driving...
