    UPDATE: Missing/bucking -- something causing plug wear

    ok, quick summary. '96 X 302 with a hesitation/miss/stumble at low rpm and slight load on engine like a small incline. i pulled out all my autolite plat plugs (fairly new) before a long trip this past weekend and found this: bank 1 (passenger side cylinders) all 4 plugs looked great...

    EGR, what if your blocked it?

    i was cleaning my EGR this weekend and was noticing how much nasty carbon was in the valve and the intake throat. so i wonder, if you simply put a thin metal sheet in between the EGR valve and the intake body, what would happen? i believe the EGR would still function by opening the valve...

    Ign. coil pack's secondary ALL reading high??

    (this is a branch off of the thread "Engine Misses/bucks under load. No codes") i suspect possible weak coil packs so i tested the resistance, here is what i found: primary on both packs should be 0.3 - 1.0 ohms all mine read 1.1 ohms (a little high, but perhaps DVOM error) secondary...
