    A special thanks for some suggestions from James T, dogfriend and jimabena74.....In reference to the 97 5.0 XLT that had a miss in the firing. Coil Packs checked out ok. #1 plug had burn spot on the side of the electrode so changed it out and as I final precaution found a guy at a Lincoln...

    1997 Xlt 5.0 engine miss

    I have a 1997 Xlt 5.0. The thing started running rough so a trip to Firestone and 1000 dollars later the engine was somewhat better but still rough. Had them take off the crappy wires they put on and had them put on Ford original wires from dealership ran great for a week then a smaller miss...
