    Explorer turns over won't start

    I have a 2002 4.0 explorer. It was running fine but battery died. Jumped it. Started for 3 seconds then stopped. Now it will turn over but not start. I checked the inertia switch, fuel pump fuse, pushed the fuel schrader valve -fuel came out. I'm not competent to do serious repairs but...
