    No first gear with 91 EB auto

    Hello, The 91 Eddie Bauer I'm looking into doesn't have 1st gear anymore. My question is this, is there anyway to tell when the transmission will just go to hell or is it a quessing game? Seeing its obvious it needs a rebuild or a new one, would it cause any problems to try to drive it on...
