    How to Determine Engine Build Date

    Hi. New member, new explorer owner. Mine's a 1991 4.0L 6Cyl OHV 2Dr 4Wd. Apparently I need to know my engine's build date. Ford says I need to know before or after March 1991. Is there a simple way to tell? Thanks for any help.
