    replacing JBL sub

    Hi, I have a 94 explorer w/ the JBL setup. The sub is blown, and I am gonna for the moment just replace the sub itself w/ an aftermarket sub the same size. My question is should I get a 4 ot 8 ohm sub? which should I get, what kind of differnce would it be with the stock amp? thanks!!!!
